AI Agent Integration Workflows

Vibe Inspect is purpose-built to eliminate hallucinated selectors and bloated prompt context when collaborating with modern AI coding assistants.

Cursor’s multi-file editing engine excels when provided with component-level anchors rather than whole pages.

  1. Trigger Vibe Inspect with Ctrl+Shift+X in your browser.
  2. Click the component you want to modify (e.g. PricingCard or SubmitButton).
  3. Press Cmd+I (Windows: Ctrl+I) to open Cursor Composer.
  4. Paste the prompt chip directly into your sentence:
Please refactor `[BUTTON] "Confirm Payment" (Component: CheckoutForm) Selector: form#payment > button[type="submit"]` to show a spinner icon and disable pointer events while paymentMutation.isPending is true.

Anthropic’s claude command-line tool runs inside your terminal and executes bash commands, edits files, and runs git.

  1. Hit Alt+Shift+X for single-shot pick.
  2. Click the misaligned UI element.
  3. Switch to your terminal and execute:
Terminal window
claude "The element `[DIV] "Billing History" Selector: div.billing-container > div.table-wrap` has horizontal overflow on mobile viewports (< 640px). Add responsive overflow handling in CSS."

Claude Code analyzes the selector, finds the matching styles in your repository, and commits the clean patch.

Codeium’s Windsurf Cascade integrates deeply into codebases with real-time semantic search.

  1. Inspect and copy the element prompt.
  2. Open Cascade (Cmd+L / Ctrl+L).
  3. Prompt:
Trace where the onClick handler for `[BUTTON] "Export Data" (Component: AnalyticsToolbar)` is dispatched and implement CSV export functionality using PapaParse.

Cascade uses the exact component name and tag to navigate to the exact file and AST node.

When using VS Code with GitHub Copilot Chat:

  1. Paste the element prompt into the @workspace participant:
@workspace Where is `[NAV] "Docs Navigation" (Component: SidebarNav)` styled? Increase vertical item spacing by 4px.

Copilot parses the selector and points you to the exact CSS/Tailwind definitions.
